Subject Matter Specialist (Agrometeorology)

Qualification: i. Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with at least 55% marks. ii. Master Degree in Agro-Meteorology. Candidate with qualifications in Meteorology /Agronomy/Agricultural Physics shall also be considered but preference will be given to candidates with Agro-Meteorology qualification iii. The candidate must have knowledge of Odia up to 7th Standard,
Desirable: 02 years experience of working in the ICAR system or KVK or equivalent institution.
Scale of Pay : PB-3, Rs.15,600-39,100/- plus GP Rs.5,400/-
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on the last date of receipt of application
Agromet Observer
No. of Vacancies: 09
Qualification: i. 10 + 2 along with basic knowledge of computer operation preferably from Science stream. ii. The candidate must have knowledge of Odia up to 7th Standard.
Scale of Pay : Rs.5,200 - 20,200/- plus GP Rs.2,000/-
Age Limit: Maximum 32 years as on the last date of receipt of application
Fees of the application for the post (Non-refundable):-
Rs.700/- (Rupees seven hundred) only for “Subject Matter Specialist”
Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred) only for “ Agromet Observer”
Mode of Payment : The application fees shall be deposited directly through Green Channel Counter (GCC) / Internet Banking / Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) in the account number of the Comptroller, OUAT (A/C No. 10173711536, State Bank of India, OUAT Campus Branch, Bhubaneswar, Branch Code: 03341, Indian Financial System Code (IFSC Code): No.SBIN0003341. In support of document regarding deposit, the candidate should attach a photocopy of the deposit receipt duly signed by the candidates for proof of the deposit. Another mode of payment for application fee shall not be considered. Application fee once deposited is nonrefundable.
